HERE WE ARE IN SUNNY CEBU WISHING YOU WERE HERE TOO!!!

Sunday morin' here, sun shining, taxis to catch, people to meet & greet, endless opportunities! Soon we will need to be on our way for the day! We are catching a taxi because we have no idea where we are going or how to get there. I'm sure we will recognize the church when we pull up, however.
This past week has been spent at he Mar Opollo Hotel eating (mostly). The hotel sits further up the hill from the temple. Friday we drove the rest of the way up the mountain to "The Top" which is a look out on the top of the mountain where you can look out over the entire city and the rest of the Island as well. The plan is to move to the home tomorrow.

The house is a lovely home. Actually very beautiful and if I can get an image to appear I'll post a picture. The washer and dryer were installed yesterday. There was a crew doing the "final cleaning". Dusting and washing everything. There is a beautiful tile floor, and those of you that have lived here will not be surprised to hear that the bedroom has a beautiful wood flooring. The wool rug in the dining room and living room is from New Zealand. The cabinets for the kitchen are on their way by boat from New Zealand, but there is a fridge and stove, and I believe I saw a box with a microwave in it. They have improvised a ramp so that cars can enter the temple complex through the main gate, and can be driven up to the house.

Looking forward to moving into the house we will get up early and pack our bags. We are glad to be looking at a full schedule tomorrow. After packing our bags in the car we will meet with the driver of a rented van to pick up President and Sister Cuyong at the airport. They are supposed to be arriving at 9:30 a.m. from Manila. We have also volunteered to help unpack boxes and get the Patron House ready for use. It seems good to have a plan and something useful to do. I'll let you know after the fact how it really felt!

See Ya Soon!

(turn on you speakers!)

I hate goodbyes! But you all are coming over to visit, right? RIGHT?
RIGHT??? Good. That's settled then. So instead of "Goodbye," I'll just say, "See ya in a couple of months."
